Dr. Gupta is a board-certified rheumatologist who specializes in an integrative approach to managing autoimmune arthritis, pain conditions, and general wellness. She practices a holistic approach combining the latest advances in conventional medicine with safe and effective complementary therapies. Therapeutic regimens are individualized to fit the patient's needs.

A native of Philadelphia, Dr. Gupta received her MD degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 2003 and stayed there to complete her internship and residency training in internal medicine. She went on to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where she completed her rheumatology fellowship training in 2008. Dr. Gupta completed her acupuncture training and earned her acupuncture license in Pennsylvania in 2006. She completed an additional year of acupuncture training and earned her certification in medical acupuncture in California in 2009.

Dr. Gupta joined the Rheumatology division at UCLA in 2008 and served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Rheumatology Faculty. In these capacities, she supervised the training of rheumatology fellows and managed patients in her own faculty practice. There, she began integrating acupuncture, homeopathics, and nutraceuticals into her conventional rheumatology practice.

Dr. Gupta transitioned to private practice in 2010 in order to provide patients with the time and personalized attention that is necessary to regain and maintain good health.

Dr. Gupta is a second-generation physician, acupuncturist, and homeopath and expanded her expertise to include platelet-rich plasma, mesotherapy, biopuncture, neural therapy, IV therapies, and anti-aging microneedling. She has consistently observed that patients treated with an integrative approach have better treatment outcomes and require less conventional medications in the long-run.

She is affiliated with the UCLA-Santa Monica Medical Center and Orthopedic Hospital.
